This intensive six-month program is tailored for aspiring debaters seeking to master the World Schools Debating Championships (WSDC) format. This month builds eloquence, confidence, and speaker presence through focused delivery training. Students will refine rhetorical techniques, persuasive language, and presentation skills to strengthen their delivery and grab the attention of the judges.
This month focuses on building strong, well-reasoned arguments through structured analysis. Students will learn how to match argument types such as deontological or utilitarian to different motion styles. They’ll also develop the skill of prebuttal: anticipating and undermining opposing logic before it’s spoken.
Students will master the art of rebuttal by identifying logical flaws and turning opposition arguments.They’ll learn how to create direct clashes, weigh arguments effectively, and prioritize key issues. Strategic use of Points of Information (POIs) will also be taught.
Students will learn to approach debates holistically in analyzing structure, flow, and round dynamics. They’ll explore how to craft winning strategies, adjust framing mid-round, and exploit team positioning. This month builds the judgment and foresight needed to debate not just within the round, but about the round itself.
This month trains students to research effectively and translate information into strategic case material for prepared motions. They will learn how to build nuanced, evidence-driven cases tailored to specific motion themes. Simultaneously, they will be taught how to develop prep-room collaboration and work well with teammates.

* Each monthly session begins on the 15th, and students who enroll will be placed into the session starting on the closest upcoming 15th
